Every year in September, many public servants turn out for the Annual West Indian Day Parade that happens to fall on Labor Day.

Visitors usually travel great distances to experience all the hoopla and controversy that surrounds the event, as it is one of Brooklyn’s largest media events that bring out New York’s top public servants.
